No Jail Time For Union Embezzler

The former union treasurer at Ogdensburg Correctional Facility won't be doing any jail time for embezzling more than $7,600 from CSEA Local 185.

Philip Jessmer was sentenced to five years probation and ordered to pay the money back.

The 42 year old Waddington man admitted taking, forging and cashing eight checks - money he said he needed to support his family after his wife lost her job.
