A 23 year old Norfolk man faces felony child pornography charges.

The St. Lawrence County Sheriff's Department arrested Tyler Harriman of 281 Marsh Road on Tuesday.

Harriman is charged with 37 counts of possessing an obscene sexual performance by a child as well as 37 counts of promoting an obscene sexual performance by a child.

The arrest stems from a search warrant conducted at Harriman's parents' home on Marsh Road on February 5.

Deputies and special agents from the Department of Homeland Security seized numerous computers and electronic devices.

Harriman's laptop contained the obscene material, officials said.

Authorities said the images depicted children engaged in acts of bondage, torture and other sexual activities.

Officials said it appears that no local children were involved.

Harriman was arraigned in Pierrepont Court and was released on his own recognizance.

He's due back in court on April 24.

The investigation is continuing and more charges may be pending.
