Norwood Woman Faces Drug Charges After Traffic Stop
A Norwood woman faces drug charges after state police pulled her over for speeding.
Troopers say 27 year old Ashley Radell was pulled over on State Route 56 in Norfolk.
Police say they found hypodermic needles in the vehicle, plus a small quantity of heroin, 8.6 grams of marijuana, a switchblade knife, and Effexor, a prescription drug for which she did not have a prescription.
Radell was charges with possession of a hypodermic instrument, seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fourth degree criminal possession of a weapon, unlawful possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance outside its original container.
She was also ticketed for speeding.
She was arraigned in Louisville town court and released. She will appear in Norfolk town court at a later date.
