Nurse Pratitioner Accused Of Prescribing Himself Percocet

A Watertown man who worked as a nurse practitioner is accused of writing himself a prescription for the painkiller Percocet.

State police arrested 56 year old Kevin Brennan 46 Public Square, Apartment 211.

He's accused of making a false entry on a prescription form while acting as a nurse practitioner for the Mercy Primary Care Clinic.

Brennan is charged with one felony count of first-degree falsifying business records.

According to police, he falsely completed the prescription in order to obtain 48 Percocet pills for personal consumption on May 2, 2012.
 
Brennan was issued a ticket to appear in Watertown City Court on April 24. 

State police were assisted in the investigation by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency office in Syracuse.
