OFA Mourns Death Of Student

An Ogdensburg Free Academy high school student who died of a brain aneurysm is being remembered as "a popular student who was well-liked by everyone."
 
Sabrina Reese, a junior and member of the OFA high school track team died Thursday night at Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse a day after suffering a brain aneurysm at the school.

Superintendent Timothy Vernsey said Reese will be "fondly remembered as an all around lovely person."

The school's crisis action team was on hand throughout the school day Friday to help students and faculty deal with the teenager's death.

A group of students is organizing a candlelight vigil in her memory Friday night at Morissette Park.
