One person received minor injuries in a two-car crash Wednesday morning on Coffeen Street in Watertown.

State police say 19 year old Angelique Villeneuve of Dekalb Junction was turning left onto Coffeen from the UPS store when she drove into the path of a westbound Safelite AutoGlass van.

The driver of the van, 36 year old Lance Collins of Sandy Creek, was unable to stop in time to avoid the crash.

Villeneuve was taken to Samaritan Medical Center, where she was treated for minor injuries.

Collins was not injured,

Police say Villeneuve will likely be ticketed for failure to yield the right of way.

The accident happened shortly after 9 a.m. The westbound lane was shut down for about 20 minutes.
