One Injured in Town of Pamelia Crash

One woman was sent to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries after a two-car accident in the Town of Pamelia Monday afternoon.

Police say the woman was driving her green pickup truck on Route 37 when she drifted into oncoming traffic and struck a white BMW.

The woman had to be removed from her truck with the jaws of life. She was transported to Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown.

The two people in the BMW were unhurt.

The driver of the pickup is being ticketed with failure to keep right and a seat belt violation, because her seven-year-old daughter was not in a car seat.

The girl was, however, wearing a seat belt and is alright.
