Oxley Says He Has 'Good Vibes' About Testifying In His Murder Trial

Accused murderer Wayne Oxley says he has "good vibes" about his testimony Wednesday in St. Lawrence County Court.

Oxley told jurors he was not the one who murdered Bernard Trickey in Ogdensburg in August 2005.

He maintains it was John Shannon who did it.

Trickey was beaten to death with a baseball bat.

Shannon died in a suspicious fire not long after Trickey was found dead in his New York Avenue home.

"I've said right from the beginning I didn't do this crime and John Shannon had something to do with it. I told the cops the moment that they said their was a bat in my cellar. I said, 'Shannon had the bat,'" said Oxley.

Oxley says he fears for the safety of those who testified on his behalf but isn't concerned about his own safety.

The trial resumes Friday morning.
