Oxley "Shocked" Over Juror's Dream During Murder Trial

Another strange twist in the third murder trial of Wayne Oxley in St. Lawrence County Court.

A female juror told the court she had a dream over the weekend of Oxley chasing her around a barn with a baseball bat.

The juror claimed she also became emotional after seeing her father lying in a recliner chair similar to the way murder victim Bernard Trickey was found in August 2005.

Oxley, who has maintained his innocence, is accused of beating Trickey to death with a bat in a drug related crime.

Judge Jerome Richards refused to remove the juror despite a call from Oxley's attorney to do so.

"I just about fell over. I was pretty shocked and I was pretty shocked she was left on the jury," said Oxley.

Meanwhile, jurors got their first look at the bat used to beat Trickey to death.

Ogdensburg police Lieutenant Andrew Kennedy, who found the bloodied bat in Oxley's cellar, testified that Oxley told police, "looks like a murder scene," when he looked in the direction of Trickey's house shortly after authorities came to his residence as the investigation unfolded.
