PSC Holds Area Code Hearings

Tools

The public had a chance Tuesday to voice opinions about adding a new area code in northern and central New York.

The only problem?

Only one person showed up at a Public Service Commission hearing in Watertown.

That person was a representative of state Senator Patty Ritchie (R. - 48th District).

It was the senator who asked for the hearing.

A second public forum will take place Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the Dulles State Office Building.
