Parents Line Up To Register Kids With DNA LifeprintThere was a long line of parents at Davidson Nissan in Watertown over the weekend. They were taking advantage of a program designed to help protect their children. Officials with DNA Lifeprint were in town to help parents register their kids. Photos were taken and fingerprints scanned. It's part of a program that lets parents store their children's information. That way, if a child goes missing, police will have access to updated information that might help bring them home. Officials with DNA Lifeprint say they hope to hold more events like this in the north country soon. For more on the program, visit dna-lifeprint.com. |
