A section of State Route 3 in the town of Champion was closed for several hours Tuesday because of downed power lines.
The highway between State Route 26 and Jackson II Road was closed from around 7:45 a.m. until shortly before 12:30 p.m.
Emergency officials closed the road because a motor vehicle accident knocked down a utility pole and wires.
No serious injuries have been reported.
