People In Orleans, Alexandria Complain About Salty WaterCall it a case of bad taste along Route 12 in the Jefferson County towns of Orleans and Alexandria. People are complaining there's too much salt in their water. They're placing the blame on a salt storage barn operated by the state Department of Transportation. The state says it will investigate any concerns about contamination at specific locations.
