Playing Hoops, Helping Kids at 'Community Day'

In Watertown, basketball players of all ages came from across the north country to take part in a three on three tournament for a good cause.

The proceeds will go to the Children's Miracle Network.

It was all part of  'Community Day' at Mountaineer Estates - an event organizers say is designed to bring the community together, raise some money, and have some fun.

"Just a great time. It's our first annual, in hopes of making this an annual event," explained Mountaineer Estates' Karen Murray.

And it wasn't just hoops at this Community Day. The event also included face painting, a bounce-house, and raffles.
