Teen Dies From Injuries Sustained In Car-Pedestrian AccidentA Calcium teenager is dead after he was struck by a car Monday night on State Route 342 near Calcium. Police say 18 year old Joseph Mack, who lived on Route 342, was crossing the road near Chrysler Drive when he was struck by an eastbound Jeep driven by 26 year old Christina Kellner of Watertown. Mack was taken to University Hospital in Syracuse, where he later died. Police say he was walking home from Wal-Mart and was crossing the road to get to his house when the accident occurred. He was wearing dark clothing. Troopers say they don't believe Kellner was at fault and do not expect any charges to be filed. Police say they are looking for the driver of the car immediately behind Kellner's vehicle as a possible witness. Anyone with information can call 315-782-2112. Most Popular |
