Police Investigate Sexual Assault Of College Student


Potsdam police are in the early stages of an investigation into the alleged sexual assault of a female SUNY Potsdam student that happened last weekend.

The alleged sexual attack is believed to have occurred at an off-campus fraternity, but authorities aren't saying whether it is a recognized or non-recognized Greek house.
The female victim left the SUNY Potsdam campus to return home shortly after the alleged assault, which was reported to authorities by her parents.
SUNY Potsdam police are assisting village police in the investigation.
