Police: Man Stabbed Another During Bar Fight

A Watertown man is being held in the Jefferson County Jail on $15,000 cash bail for allegedly stabbing another man during a bar fight.

28-year-old Ricky Hodkinson II was arrested Friday night at Artie's Tavern on High Street.

Watertown Police say it all started when Hodkinson punched his wife, Lisa, several times in the chest inside the bar, before he was pulled away by another person trying to break up the fight.

Police say Hodkinson then stabbed Randy Hardison, also of Watertown, in the right thigh with a knife.

The victim was taken to Samaritan Medical Center with a non-life threatening injury.

Hodkinson has been charged with assault in the second degree and criminal possession of a weapon - both felonies. He was also charged with one misdemeanor count of attempted assault.

He was arraigned in Watertown City Court Saturday morning.
