St. Lawrence County sheriff's deputies are investigating a hit-and-run accident that happened earlier this week in the town of Pierrepont.
It happened either late Wednesday night or early Thursday morning. No one was hurt, but deputies say two vehicles parked in a driveway were damaged.
Police say an unknown vehicle was traveling south on State Route 56 near the intersection with County Route 24 and the Russell Turnpike when it went off the road and struck an unoccupied pickup truck.
The pickup was pushed sideways until it hit a vehicle next to it.
