Man Accused Of Stabbing Woman, Injuring Another

Watertown police have arrested a 34 year old city man in connection with the stabbing of a woman during a domestic dispute.

Lisandro Torres of 132 Central Street is charged with second-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

Torres allegedly used a knife to stab 20 year old Alicia Hollenbeck of 27634 Route 283 in Black River.

Police said she was stabbed in her upper torso.

A 31 year old unidentified woman, who police said is an acquaintance of Hollenbeck, was also injured.

Both women were taken to Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown.

Torres, who fled the scene of the stabbing before patrols arrived on the scene. turned himself into police as they searched for him on North Rutland Street.

Torres is being held in the Jefferson County Jail pending his arraignment on the charges.

Police expect him to appear in court Friday for the arraignment.

Police said the knife used to stab Hollenbeck has been recovered.

Hollenbeck was not in a romantic relationship with Torres, police said.
