Potsdam Man Accused Of Stealing From Employer

A 50 year old Potsdam man is accused of stealing money from a business where he worked as a custodian.

Village police charged Russell Snyder Jr. with fourth-degree grand larceny.

According to police, Snyder stole $1,838 in cash from a local business office.  

The theft occurred after-hours and police were called to the scene the following morning for what appeared to be and was reported as a break-in.

Investigators were able to determine that the crime scene had been staged to look like a break in.
