Rain Forecast For Saturday; Car Show Postponed

Tools

With rain in the forecast for Saturday, the classic car show set for Clayton this weekend has been postponed.

7 News weathercaster John Kubis says it will rain all day across northern New York, with heavy rain possible in the afternoon. As much as an inch of rain is possible in places, Kubis said.

Rain will mostly end after midnight, although a few showers could linger into Sunday morning.

The Clayton car show - more formally known as the 16th Annual Vintage and Classic Street Meet - has been postponed to September 28 and 29.

However, the soapbox derby will go on as planned, unless it's raining at 10 a.m. Saturday.

More information is available on the Clayton Chamber of Commerce web site.
