Thousands of people packed the fairgrounds in Watertown for the 18th annual Jefferson County Relay For Life. The proceeds go to the American Cancer Society. A parade emceed by our own Mel Busler kicked off the event with teams footing their way down Coffeen street. Then speakers talked about their experience with cancer during the opening ceremony. Walkers and runners circled the track until the Saturday morning sun brought an eventual end to the annual fundraiser.
