Repairs Force Beaver River Pool To Close

The pool at Beaver River Central School will be closed for a couple of months.

School district officials say it's because of a problem with the pool's drain.
Repairs had already been scheduled for next year, but there have been problems with the drain since late August, prompting officials to fix the problem earlier than expected.
Officials say the pool will like be closed until after Thanksgiving vacation. All swim programs are canceled.
School officials say they are working to make arrangements for the girls' swim team to practice at neighboring schools.
