Report: McHugh Expected To Step Down As Army Secretary


Citing defense sources, the Army Times is reporting that Army Secretary John McHugh is expected to step down at some point during President Obama's second term.

McHugh, a Watertown native and the north country's former Congressman, became secretary of the Army in September 2009.

The Army Times reported that Joseph Westphal, the current Army undersecretary, has been mentioned as a candidate to become secretary.
