Roofers Repair Watertown Church

This is one of those professions where you can't be afraid of heights.
Roofers never know where their jobs will take them.

This week, they're busy as bees on the roof of Trinity Episcopal Church in Watertown.

Crews are removing 4 layers of shingles dating back to the 1930's and 40's and putting a new roof on.

Thirty guys are on the job.

At heights like this, safety is key.

"The guys are at about 75 feet in the air. They're harnessed up, trying to keep everybody safe," said roofer Jeff Cook.

Weather permitting, the work should be completed by the end of the day Friday.
