A 21 year old SUNY Canton student has been arrested in what police are saying is the largest seizure of drug money on campus.

Nasir Cisse of New York City was charged with felony third-degree criminal sale of marijuana and fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana following a month long investigation by the St. Lawrence County Drug Task Force.

Police said Cisse sold marijuana to an undercover informant and was an alleged drug dealer on the college campus.

When police went to arrest him, they smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from his dorm room at Heritage Hall.

Police seized $13,000 in cash and 20 grams of marijuana.

Cisse pleaded not guilty at his arraignment and was remanded to the county jail on $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bail bond.
