As expected, lake effect snow rolled into northern New York Saturday.
Less expected: where the snow fell.
The traditional worst spots south of Watertown were relatively unscathed during the day Saturday, as was Watertown itself, which got about an inch and a half of snow.
However, Chaumont got four inches of snow, as did Dexter.

Snow warnings were up for Jefferson and Lewis counties until 1 a.m. Sunday, and southwestern St. Lawrence County until 10 p.m. Saturday.
Snow was expected to shift back south of Watertown Saturday night.
