Saying Goodbye To Katie Alexander

It's with a mixture of sadness and happiness that we say goodbye to 7 News reporter and weekend anchor Katie Alexander.

Wednesday is Katie's last day.

She came to Channel 7 in 2010 following an internship through Syracuse University.

Katie has covered just about every kind of story and has grown as both a person and a journalist.

She has been been acknowledged by her peers for excellence in reporting and she never shied away from any challenge.

Katie is taking her many talents to KWQC TV 6 in Davenport, Iowa, where she will be a reporter and producer.

We wish Katie all the best.

We'll miss you!
