A second Gouverneur man has been arrested in connection with an alleged incident on Sunday in which two men were assaulted at a private residence.
St. Lawrence County sheriff deputies say 18 year old Franklin Ablan and an accomplice, 21 year old Nico Devito, entered a private residence on County Route 12 in the town of Gouverneur and assaulted two men.
Ablan was charged with first degree burglary and fourth degree conspiracy, both felonies, two days after the incident. He was arraigned in Gouverneur town court and committed to county jail on $10,000 cash bail of $20,000 bond.
