A Lisbon woman is in fair condition after a two-vehicle crash in St. Lawrence County Tuesday.
State police say the van driven by 65 year old Louise Sanderson swerved into the wrong lane on State Route 37 in Hammond and hit a tractor-trailer head-on.
Sanderson had to be extricated from the wreckage and was taken to University Hospital in Syracuse.
The accident closed a section of Route 37 for more than seven hours.

A section of Route 37 near Hammond was closed to traffic for more than seven hours Tuesday following a head-on crash involving a tractor trailer and a van.
State police said one person had to be extricated from the wreckage and was immediately transported to University Hospital in Syracuse with serious injuries.
The crash happened at approximately 3:20 p.m. near Hadlock Road.
Route 37 between County Route 6 and Black Lake-Brier Hill Road was closed until 10:45 p.m. as authorities continued their investigation.
