The Watertown area's annual celebration of all things Irish is ready to go.

Preparations were underway Thursday at the Dulles state offifce building in Watertown, where the 'North Country Goes Green' Irish Festival will be held Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Among other things, a lot of corned beef is on hand.

"865 pounds of corned beef have been cooked," said festival co-chair Dick Gaffney.

"It'll be enough, though it would be nice to run out."

The doors open at 5 p.m. Friday. Admission Friday and Saturday is $6 a person. Sunday is family day, and admission is $6 a family or $2 a person.

A concert by the Willoughby Brothers is set for Saturday night. Concert admission is $15.
