Severe T-Storm Watch Issued, Watertown Sees Record High Temps

The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for the north country until midnight tonight.

Temperatures climbed into the upper 80s across the region Wednesday, clearing the way for another record high in Watertown.

On Tuesday, Watertown reached a record high of 89 degrees, breaking the 1988 record of 88 degrees.

The record for July 17 was set last year with a high of 91 degrees.
