Snow Storm Forces Businesses To Close Doors

The storm has closed a number of businesses in Jefferson and Lewis counties.

Health care offices, manufacturers and even the Salmon Run Mall shut down because of the snow.

All Northern Credit Union branches closed their doors.

It was a decision that isn't made lightly because it can hurt business.

"When it comes to our lending portfolio, if we can close a loan today, we can charge interest. Without being able to close those, with the branches being closed, there's some marginal impact when it comes to the bottom line," said Denise Lariviere, vice president of member solutions for Northern Credit Union.
