Soldier Airlifted To Hospital After Crash On Fort Drum

A Fort Drum soldier had to be airlifted to a hospital after a car crash on post Tuesday evening.

There were few details, Fort Drum officials said the car accident happened at the intersection of Tigris River Valley Road and Iraqi Freedom Drive.

There was no word late Tuesday night on how many vehicles were involved or the extent of the soldier's injuries.
