Autopsy: Hypothermia Blamed For Man's Death Near TavernThe Jefferson County Sheriff's Department says an autopsy has been performed on the man who found dead outside an Evans Mills tavern Wednesday. Officials said 27 year old Keith Doxtater of Evans Mills died from hypothermia. At 9:36 a.m. Wednesday, the sheriff's department received a call about an unresponsive man lying behind the Last Call Bar & Grill on Noble Street in the village. It appears Doxtater fell down and struck his head, officials said. Officials said there was no indication that Doxtater met with foul play.
Police tape surrounded the back yard area of the business.
