Spezzano's Frozen Yogurt Store Gets Warm Welcome

To go with this frigid winter weather, how about some frozen yogurt?

Believe it or not, Watertown radio personality John Spezzano says his new frozen yogurt store has been met with a warm reception since it opened two weeks ago.

Yo-Johnny Frozen Yogurt is a serve-yourself deal, with your choice of 100 toppings.

Your frozen creation is sold by the flat rate of 50 cents an ounce. 

Spezzano says his "soft-opening" in winter was on purpose.

"We wanted to open for business, you know, maybe in an off-season so that way we can do everything right and serve the customer the best way," he said.

Spezzano calls this the first-of-its kind in the Watertown area.

He says the response has been so good, he's planning on three more stores around the north country within a year.
