It was a celebration of 30 years Sunday for a Watertown preschool.
St. John Bosco preschool at Holy Family Church is in its third decade this year.
There was a special mass and a reception recognizing current students and staff, as well as many alumni who were on hand.
"Just a great staff of people," said Gary West, principal of Immaculate Heart elementary.
"Terry Ranger, our lead teacher, has been here for 30 years," he said. "She's really led this program. Our program continues to grow, we're expanding it next year."
"It was wonderful to see the children -- they were children when I was principal," said Sister Ellen Rose Coughlin.
"They are now parents and they are here with their children," she said, "who are enrolled at St. John Bosco.
St. John Bosco is part of the Immaculate Heart school system and administration there says it has always been a strong place to start a child's education.
Sister Coughlin said two of the current staff went to the preschool there as children and now teach the more than 100 students.
