St. Lawrence County Highway Superintendent Toby Bogart has resigned to accept a new job as a civil engineer with the New York Power Authority.

Bogart turned in his resignation to county officials Tuesday, effective November 8.

He has been highway superintendent for nearly two years being appointed to replace William Dashnaw, who retired.

Sources tell 7 News that Dashnaw is under consideration for appointment as interim highway superintendent until Bogart's permanent replacement is found.
