Star Lake Under Boil Water Advisory Until At Least Friday

MGN Online

A boil water advisory will remain in effect for the Star Lake water district in the town of Fine until at least Friday.

Town Supervisor Mark Hall said crews found a leak in the system at Route 3 and Youngs Road and repaired it.

Water was restored around the water district, but officials want residents to boil their water before consuming it.

The boil water advisory remains in effect until at least Friday while officials test the water for safety.

Officials say this is separate from the water problems in the Newton Falls water district, which is in the town of Clifton.
Water problems forced Clifton-Fine Central School to close Wednesday.
