State police are looking for the public's help solving the theft and arson of two vehicles last weekend.

Police say in both cases, the vehicles were stolen, parked in remote areas in the town of LeRay and apparently set on fire.

Both vehicles were taken sometime May 11 or May 12.

Troopers say the first vehicle, a green 2001 Land Rover Discovery II, was stolen from a Mill Street driveway in the village of Theresa.

It was found on what's called Lovers' Lane, less than half a mile north of State Route 971V. Police say it was abandoned and destroyed by fire.

The second vehicle, a 2008 Ford pickup, was taken from a Libby Lane residence in the town of LeRay.

It was found abandoned and on fire on the railroad bed about a quarter mile north of State Route 342.

Anyone with information can call 315-782-2112.
