State Restricts What E.J. Noble Can Tell The Public

The state Health Department is restricting what E. J. Noble Hospital officials can release about efforts to reopen the medical facility.
 
The Health Department continues to review separate proposals from Samaritan Medical Center and Canton-Potsdam Hospital for the supervision of E.J. Noble's laboratory.

The state ordered the hospital to shut down its acute care services September 28 over serious lab deficiencies.

The state is also reviewing the hospital's plan of correction that addresses 19 deficiencies.

A source tells 7 News the Health Department is attempting to coordinate and manage what information is released.
