Sticky Fair Tradition Returns

Tools

The Jefferson County fair officially opens Tuesday. Among the things you'll find is a vendor who has been a staple at the fair for nearly 75 years.

The folks at Fowler's Taffy come all the way from Buffalo. They're excited to be back for another year and say not only is their stand a tradition for many fair-goers, it's also a tradition for them.

"People in Watertown receive our taffy very well," said manager Robert Langendorfer.

"It's a tradition for them, as well as it is for us, too."

Langendorfer says they're looking forward to people stopping by and trying their hand-made taffy.
