Jeff Stinson was picking watermelon and cantaloupe Thursday night.
His wife Pam and daughter Morgan were inside the home. And then a knock came at the front door.
"Very odd and peculiar - it was an emergency knock," Pam Stinson said Monday.
The Stinsons live in the hamlet of Bigelow, outside of Richville off Route 11 in St. Lawrence County.
And when they opened the door, they immediately knew exactly who it was. It was the Amish sisters who were kidnapped the previous night.
The girls said ""take us to 812," Pam Stinson recalled.
Standing outside the Stinsons' home on Route 20, the sisters were barefoot and wet. The 7 year old was shaking. The Stinsons fed them and drove them back to their home near Heuvelton.
"They wanted to get out of Richville, this area and get back to 812.," Pam Stinson added.
The Stinsons have been told the girls' family wants to help them rebuild their garage, destroyed by fire last month.
