Stone Mills Museum Celebrates StrawberriesThey were celebrating strawberries at Stone Mills over the weekend at the agricultural museum's annual strawberry festival. In addition to strawberries, the festival also featured vendors, classic cars and a bluegrass band. Those who were at the festival said they were there for two things, the bluegrass and - most importantly - the shortcake. "Ah, delicious!" Judy Fay said. "And the whipped cream's even better." "The bluegrass and Stone Mills is just a perfect fit," said Georgia Weathers of the bluegrass association. "The . . . setup is really great for the musicians," Weathers said. The festival was one of many events scheduled at Stone Mills during the summer. |
