A Watertown business plans to hire at least 87 new employees in January.

Stream Global Services operates a customer service call center on Arsenal Street in Watertown.

Stream officials tell 7 News that three of Stream's existing clients are looking to expand.

Two of the clients are in the telecommunications field and the other is in the electronics industry.

"The people here, the work ethic of the people and our economy here has really helped us be able to sell this to our clients and get them to expand their business here in New York and Watertown," said Mike Hill of Stream.

Stream currently has 700 workers in Watertown.

According to Stream's web site, the company employs more than 39,000 people at 55 service centers in 22 countries.
