Hundreds of people turned out at Watertown's Thompson park Sunday for the 14th annual 1st Frost AIDs Walk and Run.

The event, which benefits ACR Health, the organization formerly known as AIDS Community Resources, raised just under $47,000, exceeding the day's goal of $45,000.

The money goes for support services and youth HIV and sexually transmitted disease prevention programs in Jefferson, Lewis, Oswego and St. Lawrence counties.

"Our goal has been youth supporting youth,so youth prevention, youth leadership," said Michael Crinnin, executive director.
