Watertown Police Identify Stabbing Victim
Watertown city police have released the name of the man who died Sunday night in a stabbing at an apartment on Public Square.
The victim is identified as 34 year old Henry Perkins Jr. of 1526 State Street in Watertown.
Police said they were called to 117 J.B. Wise Place, Apartment 202, at 6:45 p.m. after receiving a report of a stabbing.
There have been no arrests.
Lieutenant Frank Derrigo, spokesperson for the Watertown Police Department, said investigators were leaning towards having a person of interest.
Police confirmed that Perkins had been stabbed on September 4, 2012 during a domestic dispute.
The incident happened at 619 Bronson Street.
At the time, police said the victim suffered a superficial wound to the right side of his back.
Police said he was stabbed with a kitchen knife during a domestic incident.
City police said they're working with the Jefferson County District Attorney's Office as well as the county Medical Examiner's Office.
No other information was released.

Police released few details Sunday night. Investigators and representatives of the Jefferson County District Attorney's office were at the scene at 101 Public Square.
Police said the stabbing took place in apartment 202, which is above the former "Rent A Zone" store.
Investigators were seen removing bags of evidence from the apartment.
"We conducted a search and seized several items of interest to the investigation," said Lieutenant Frank Derrigo, department spokesman.
The name of the victim was not released overnight; police said they were in the process of notifying the next of kin.
