It took a St. Lawrence County jury only 15 minutes to acquit a New York City man of attempted burglary charges in connection with a December 27, 2012 attempted Massena home invasion.

The 8 woman, 4 man jury found 25 year old Matthew Malu not guilty after a three day trial.

On Thursday, a judge dismissed a similar charge against co-defendant 19 year old Devian Fletcher.

Both men had been indicted for allegedly attempting enter the Haskell Street residence of Andrew Courson.

Moments after his acquittal, Malu was arrested on drug charges.

He and three other people were each charged under federal indictment with possession with intent to distribute heroin or cocaine and conspiracy to to possess with intent to distribute heroin or cocaine.
