Getting together for tea and crumpets is a holiday tradition in southern Jefferson County.
The event is put on by the Historical Association of South Jefferson in Adams.
Over the weekend, they served all kinds of tea from different parts of the world, including gingersnap tea and a variety of holiday teas.
Association director Mary Demianenko said many people haven't had a chance to see the museum during the holidays and the tea was a good chance to show it off.
"We want to show them how beautiful it looks at Christmastime with all the lights and all the trees that are up and the rooms are all decorated," she said.
The tea is gone, but the museum's holiday decorations will be up all month.
