Teen Accused Of Making Bomb Gets In More Trouble In Jail

The charges keep piling up for Jordan Page, the teen accused of creating a homemade bomb he said he was going to detonate in an ice arena.

The St. Lawrence County Sheriff's Department arrested the 17 year old Massena youth Wednesday afternoon after he allegedly broke a fire sprinkler at the jail.

He was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief.

Officials said Page damaged the sprinkler head in his cell and caused flooding in the area.

On Tuesday, Page was sent to the jail after being charged with a felony count of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and a misdemeanor charge of  possession of a noxious material.

Officers seized a homemade bomb from Page's home at 7 Winters Street on Tuesday.

Police described the device as a 2-liter plastic soda bottle containing a mixture of  gasoline, lighter fluid, antifreeze, staples, screws and nails.

Massena Police Chief Timmy Currier told 7 News that Page said he planned to detonate the bomb at the Massena Arena in an attempt to injure people.
